This year has been a bit different for me as I now have a soldier practically in the family. It's brought it all much closer than before. So, yes, there is a lot to say about the Stitch and Bitch day yesterday but for today I'm just going to leave people with the image above. On a day like today...
This year has been a bit different for me as I now have a soldier practically in the family. It's brought it all much closer than before. What a nice post, and lovely sentiment. My Grandma was a member of the British Legion and I was made to watch the procession every year by my mum. It wasn't until I watched a program this week about how they are helping those effected by the Iraq war that I realised how relevant this still is. It is easy to just think in terms of the World Wars.
Look forward to hearing about the Stitch n Bitch day. I will e-mail you about the yarn as I will still send you some but at the moment I have so much Uni work I don't have time to dye (or knit, or sew)
